All about Anne -an exhibit about the life of Anne Frank

Ett svartvitt porträtt på Anne Frank med basker från 1934 då hon var fem år gammal.

Unimaginable…

…. in the extent that makes especially important to never forget. It’s equally important to remind us about that there were also people going out of their safe way to protect and save others. The ones that didn’t just pass by and let it all happen.

As if Jews wern’t real people….

This is how jewish peoples everyday lives were dismantled, before as well as during the 2:nd world war. Remember, in Sweden jews entering the country, if they were let in that is, got a large “J” stamped in their passports. Something completely unimaginable today.

Unfortunately we have the opposite development in Sweden today. We let some new Swedes do shit that we would never let anyone do to another ethnic Swede. Systematic rasism in the sentence that we have looked the other way when young, or younger newcomers are forced to marry someone, circumsicion, chastity rules, punishing (shunning) their children if gay. Even killing young men and primarily young women, or ex-wifes according to honorary cultures from their native countries if they break social an clan honorary rules. I’m not comparing it to the holocaust, but the process of taking their human rights away. The rights that everyone else in Sweden has, and should have in Sweden. Regardless of where you were born originally.

This is also why it’s so very important to remember and educate about what can happen, if you look the other way. Don’t.
