Bar Euclide Pinarello in Lecce

In the middle of… a Street Crossing

By chance I sat down at Bar Euclide, located a block or two from the train station in Lecce. To sit down in the middle of a… busy street crossing, and on plastic chairs with a short skirt -always💪- isn’t really something I expect from myself.

How is it then that this place becomes one of my absolute favourites and highlights of my travel??

In hindsight, it appears that these street side cafés runs like a red thread through the entire month of travelling by train & bicycle. If they all served ice cream, it would have been no surprise. But they didn’t. I had mostly coffe and (one) aperol spritz.

Enjoy Bar Euclide!

So, this was my recouperating spot. Pretty much twice a day during my three days in Lecce. And the memory of these moments at Bar Euclide always brings a smile to my face. SO Italian. The red plastic chairs, the sweet staff, the staff from Trenitalia having their break, the locals. ❤️❤️❤️ Don’t mind the traffic.
